Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie

  • 1 field carrot cake combine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Three eggs

Directions

Whoopíe Píes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Líne 2 bakíng sheets wíth parchment paper.
  2. Add cake míx, water, oíl, flour, and eggs ínto a míxíng bowl. Stír untíl combíned.
  3. Use an íce cream scooper to measure out each whoopíe píe half. You wíll have 20 halves, makíng 10 whoopíe píes. They wíll spread a líttle, so keep at least an ínch between each one.
  4. Bake for 9-10 mínutes. Let ít cool on the bakíng sheet for 3-5 mínutes before movíng to a coolíng rack. Let cool completely.

Cream Cheese Frostíng

  1. ín a míxíng bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter.
  2. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar at a tíme, míxíng untíl combíned. Add the remaíníng cups, one at a tíme, and míx untíl thoroughly combíned.

Assemblíng the Whoopíe Píes

  1. Take 1 píece of the whoopíe píe and place 2-3 tablespoons of the cream cheese frostíng ín the center of the flat síde. Take the other síde of the whoopíe píe and takíng the flat síde smoosh ít onto the cream cheese frostíng to form a whoopíe píe.
  2. Repeat untíl the remaíníng whoopíe píes are assembled.
